Full tables, and no empty ones at seven.

A no-show on a Friday is not a small thing. It is a table you turned someone else away for. This is the booking system underneath that: it takes the booking, confirms it by text, and if they still do not turn up, it can charge the fee you set.

Say a table of four spends $260, and two of them ghost you a week.

The fix is not chasing people. It is making the cancel button easier than ghosting you.

What that actually means.

  • Bookings counted in covers, not tables

Capacity is worked out on the number of people, per service, in Sydney time. A cancellation puts those covers straight back on the floor.

  • A run sheet, not a calendar

The day in time order, built for an iPad on the pass. Confirm, seat, complete or no-show in one tap. Nobody is pinch-zooming a month grid mid-service.

  • Confirmed by text before the sitting

A one-tap confirm or cancel link goes out a few hours ahead. The ones who cancel free the table while it is still sellable, which is the entire point.

  • Card on file, if you want it

Optional and off by default. The card is saved on your own Stripe account, the fee is yours, and we never touch card data. Most venues switch it on for large groups only.

  • No commission per cover

The aggregators clip you on every booking, forever. This is a flat monthly price whether you do forty covers or four hundred.

  • Diners become customers

When a guest is seated they are added to your customer list, so you are building a database you can market to later instead of renting one.

Fair question

Will asking for a card scare people off?

Sometimes, which is why it is off by default and most venues only switch it on for large groups and peak sittings. The reminder does most of the work on its own: people who get a one-tap confirm or cancel link will usually cancel, and a cancelled table at four o'clock is a table you can still sell.

We are Sydney based and most of our work sits in the north west. Local matters here: the businesses you are competing with for a Castle Hill customer are the handful of others within ten minutes of you, not someone in the CBD.
